Welcome to Buffalo

Our Favorite Spots

We love our city and spend as much time exploring it as possible. We hope you have a great time while you're in town and are able to get out and see some of our favorite places!

Visit the Botanical Gardens

The Botanical Gardens is a truly beautiful experience, great for kids and adults. While you're in the area check out Buffalo's Basilica for some beautiful architecture too.

Explore the Elmwood Village

One of our favorite pastimes, and our neighborhood, the Elmwood Village is full of shops, restaurants, and beautiful homes. There's a great farmer's market on Saturday's that definitely worth checking out!

Tour Silo City

"Silo City" is essentially the ruins of Buffalo's old grain silos. It is now being ecologically restored and makes for a very surreal experience! You can stop to see a trellis structure we both had a big part in constructing while you're there!

Walk Around Forest Lawn Cemetery

Walking through a cemetery might not be the first activity you'd think of, but Forest Lawn will change your mind! It was designed by the same person that designed Central Park and is full of beautiful rolling paths. You can do a self-guided tour and visit singer Rick James and President McKinley!

Climb City Hall

City Hall is a beautiful Art Deco piece of architecture worth seeing for the building itself. You can also climb to the top and get a beautiful view of the city! (Don't worry, there's an elevator most of the way).

Visit Niagara Falls

Maybe the most obvious, but its the worlds largest waterfall! The park surrounding is far nicer on the American side, but if you have your passport or enhanced license, the view is better on the Canadian side.
